Get to Know the PMB Team! Meet Regional Sales Manager Tim Zyblot

Updated: Oct 1, 2024

Premier Metal Buyers Regional Sales Manager Tim Zyblot

Last week, Brannon Industrial Group celebrated "International Employee Appreciation Day". Read that story HERE. At Premier Metal Buyers, we're extending that special day by individually introducing our sales team. Human connection is integral to the holistic customer experience, especially in the large transactions we see at PMB. In hopes of bridging that gap and forging a stronger personal connection with our team, we're happy to introduce you to Tim Zyblot, one of our regional sales managers.

To learn more about the PMB team, click HERE to read our article on Delbert Boeker, our Regional Account Manager. Click HERE to read about another PMB Regional Sales Manager, Justin Colley.

Tim has been in the metal recycling sector since earning his bachelor's from Texas A&M in 1993. There, he majored in Biology and Environmental Science. He also met his beloved wife there (class of '95). After graduation, Tim spent some time at an environmental consulting firm and quickly leveraged that into a position in steel forging sales. He did this for almost 20 years. Tim crossed paths with the Brannon family in his next venture while working in steel distribution. In 2016, Tim joined the BIG team after witnessing their honesty and integrity in the metal recycling field.

During that time, he and his wife raised their daughter and son, who are now starting their young adult lives as a school teacher and welders, respectively. The Zyblot family settled just outside of Anderson, TX. They enjoy raising cattle and spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. Tim and his wife are also faithful members of Singleton Bible Church.

When we asked Tim what made him leap over to the Premier Metal Buyers, he quickly explained the high ethics and expectations he saw here, while the industry didn't reflect the same things.

Tim also explained that the working team environment at PMB is unmatched. He shared how much he likes the diversity in everyone and how their unique experiences keep the team well-rounded and understanding. “There’s a balance of camaraderie, healthy competition, and true teamwork.”

Of course, we couldn't leave without revealing his favorite Blue Bell ice cream flavor! He confirmed that “it’s a toss-up between Rocky Road and Mocha Almond Fudge!”.

Thanks for everything you do for Premier Metal Buyers and Brannon Industrial Group, Tim!
